Training

The Office of the Planning Regulator (OPR) is obliged, under the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended, to conduct education and training programmes for members of staff of local authorities and regional assemblies, in respect of matters relating to proper planning and sustainable development. The OPR’s training programme will focus on facilitating the delivery of CPD-focused training for decision makers in the planning process including officials and professional planners. The training materials from the local authority and regional assembly staff training events (i.e. the presentations, recordings of the events and briefing documents) are all available below.
